The members of Nuclear Medicine Special Interest Group , who organise these activities, are IPEM volunteers who meet several times a year. If you want to join the committee follow the "Volunteer for IPEM" link below and read the role description.
The committee shares its work and knowledge via an online Community of Interest, which is open to everyone with an interest in the subject area. If you follow the link below you can join for free. Nuclear Medicine Software Group
also known as NMSG or NMSQG is a sub-group of the IPEM Nuclear Medicine Special Interest Group. The group is also supported by the BNMS.
Aims of the NMSQG:
- To distribute a series of test images to UK nuclear medicine centres for computer analysis, and to collate returned results to show variability of quantitative parameters.
- To report each centre’s position within the UK distribution via Regional Co-ordinators.
- To promote local initiatives for validation of algorithms and other software utilities.
- To highlight problem areas to the Nuclear Medicine community and to suppliers of Nuclear Medicine Software.
