IPEM members made Honorary Fellows of the Academy for Healthcare Science
THREE members of IPEM have been made Honorary Fellows of the Academy for Healthcare Science.
The IPEM members who have been Honorary Fellows by the AHCS are:
- Dr Emmanuel Akinluyi, a Medical Equipment Engineer at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
- IPEM Fellow Joanne Young, Contracts and Quality Manager at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
- IPEM Fellow Dr Michael Dolan, Head of SMART Services at NHS Lothian
Dr Robert Farley, IPEM’s President, said: ‘Many congratulations to Emmanuel, Jo and Mike on being made Honorary Fellows of the Academy, which is well deserved recognition for their contributions to healthcare science.’
The Academy created Honorary Fellowships in 2016 to recognise the work, vision, support and input individuals have given to help the organisation in its development and growth. The appointment of Honorary Fellows is a responsibility of the AHCS Professional Council.
