Trustees set membership fees for 2022
IPEM’s Board of Trustees has set the 2022 membership subscription rates with a modest increase in line with the annual rate of inflation. The Full Member rate will rise by £1 and other UK membership categories will rise in tandem, using the applicable percentage of the full rate. The Full Membership for 2022 is set at £88, Fellows paying £117, Associate Members £66 and Affiliates £44.
The new rate will come into effect at the next renewal on 1 January 2022.
Phil Morgan, IPEM’s Chief Executive Officer, said:
'We are delighted to continue to offer our members excellent value for their subscription. With a range of professional development opportunities, being part of an active and engaged IPEM community, our ongoing efforts to speak out on behalf of our members on the issues that matter to them, and a range of other benefits including access to our outstanding journals, IPEM membership offers a great deal at a hugely competitive price, and we look forward to continuing to grow our member base and profile.'
Until this year, the annual subscription rates were voted on by members at the Annual General Meeting. At their July Board meeting, IPEM’s Trustees changed Rule B2 to allow them to set the membership without recourse to an all-member vote. The change will enable greater flexibility for Trustees in the growth and development of the Institute as a Charity and member body and is in line with the approach taken by many other such bodies and organisations.
