CSGTS - Clinical Scientist Training Workshop Day
*If you are enrolled on IPEM’s Clinical Scientist Guided Training Scheme, please do not book onto this workshop. You will automatically be invited to a workshop day in line with your cohort enrolment*
The Clinical Scientist Training Workshop Day is an in-person training day which is organised as part of IPEM’s Clinical Scientist Guided Training Scheme (CSGTS). Individuals who are not currently on IPEM’s CSGTS but are preparing to submit a portfolio to the Association of Clinical Scientist’s through Route 2 are invited to book on and attend.
There will be two streams of workshops which will run in the afternoon for Year 2 and Year 3 trainees on the scheme. Those currently not on the IPEM CSGTS can choose which stream they prefer to attend in the afternoon session and will notify us of this in the booking form.
The aim of the day is to support ACS Route 2 trainees with preparing to put together and submit a portfolio of evidence.

Case Presenter Sessions
Each attendee will be required to produce a poster style presentation and deliver a short 3-minute talk as part of the day. This will be based on a case study which you are currently working on or intending to submit as part of your portfolio of evidence. Further information and guidance on this requirement will be provided following booking.
