How to Get Professional Registrations: RSciTech, RSci, CSci

This training will provide an overview of what professional registration is, we will hear from those with experience of the process and an opportunity to look at the requirements for professional registration in more detail.

 

How to Get Professional Registrations is aimed at those looking to get one of the following professional registration  titles; RSciTech, RSci and CSci.  It is also for anyone who wants to know more about what this entails to help them decide whether they want to apply or for those who are already in the process of applying.

Included within the training will be an overview of the application process, the Science Council Competencies and how to assess your skills against the relevant framework. We will hear from experienced assessor’s on what their expectations are and what they are looking for.  We will also hear from speakers on their experiences of putting together their competence report, as well as taking a closer look at the standards and requirements to discuss potential challenges and solutions around meeting competencies. There will be opportunity to ask questions throughout the training.
